Acid immersion is mainly to remove metal oxides dissolved in acid and some silicate minerals, as well as trace impurities such as soluble aluminum and iron in minerals. After roasting water quenching, picking and PTMS magnetic separation, most oxides and impurity minerals have been removed, but some oxides and impurity minerals are in the grain boundary, microcracks and crystals, so it is difficult to remove, so long-time acid leaching is used to remove such impurities.
