The final stage is the chlorination roasting process, where titanium and boron impurities in quartz sand are volatilized through high-temperature chlorine gas injection. Under the combined effects of elevated temperatures and chlorine gas, these impurities undergo chemical reactions with chlorine to form volatile chlorides. These chlorides are then removed from the quartz sand during the PTMS MAGNETIC SEPARATOR iron removal process, effectively achieving impurity elimination.
