The resulting magnetic concentrate concentrate was calcined to get calcined kaolin (or calcined products) and calcined kaolin for whiteness test. The firing whiteness of PTMS MAGNETIC SEPARATOR iron concentrate was tested, the firing whiteness was 92.7%, the Fe2O3 content was reduced from 1.27% before magnetic separation to 0.40%, the iron removal rate was 68.5%, and the TiO2 content was reduced from 0.29% to 0.103%.
