In the study of the magnetic system structure optimization of a strong magnetic separator based on simulation, the magnetic characteristics of PTMS magnetic separation are determined by its internal magnetic system structure. Reasonable magnetic system structure design can greatly improve the magnetic induction intensity and magnetic field gradient of the magnetic separator, and give full play to the sorting ability of the coarse and weak magnetic mineral particles.
For permanent magnet PTMS magnetic separation, a special permanent magnet (such as ndfeB and other materials) is used to form a composite magnetic system structure. This method can predict the magnetic field characteristics under different parameter combinations and improve the optimization efficiency without performing a large number of practical tests.
With the increasing depletion of mineral resources, the degree of dilution and hybridization of the selected ore is gradually increasing, and the magnetic field strength of the existing permanent magnet separator can not meet the separation requirements, the deep analysis of the existing permanent magnet structure of PTMS magnetic separation and optimization and improvement become one of the key factors for success.
