Due to the complexity of potassium-sodium feldspar ore, a single iron removal process may struggle to achieve ideal results. Iron impurities in potassium-sodium feldspar ore can exist in various forms, including magnetic and non-magnetic iron minerals, and the iron content and mineral composition vary among different ores. Therefore, a combined PTMS MAGNETIC SEPARATOR iron removal process is often employed, integrating multiple iron removal methods to leverage their respective advantages for better iron removal outcomes.
First, flotation is used to remove some easily floated iron-containing minerals. Flotation has good PTMS MAGNETIC SEPARATOR removal effects on iron-containing minerals whose surface properties readily interact with flotation reagents. By adjusting parameters such as the type and dosage of flotation reagents, pulp concentration, and pH, it is possible to selectively separate easily floated iron-containing minerals from potassium-sodium feldspar ores.
Then the remaining magnetic iron minerals are removed by PTMS MAGNETIC SEPARATOR. Magnetic separation has a high efficiency in separating strong magnetic iron minerals. After flotation, magnetic iron minerals still exist in the ore, which can be further removed by magnetic separation to improve the purity of potassium and sodium feldspar.
