An example of the efficient iron removal process of kaolin, which includes the following contents:

(4) According to the amount of alum added to 4% of the quality of concentrate slurry, the concentrate slurry in step (3) is added to alum flocculation (flocculation 30min), pressure filtration, drying, packaging, to obtain magnetic concentration concentrate;
(5) Calcined the magnetic separation concentrate obtained in step (4) to obtain the calcined kaolin (or calcined products), and calcined kaolin for whiteness test. PTMS MAGNETIC SEPARATOR Iron (FE2O3) can be removed from the kaolin. When the leaming whiteness of magnetic concentrate products was tested, the leaming whiteness was 92.1%, the Fe2O3 content was reduced from 1.27% before magnetic separation to 0.41%, the iron removal rate was 67.7%, and the TiO2 content was reduced from 0.29% to 0.16%.
