Due to the high hardness of iron filings, they can cause severe wear on the cylinder's surface, leading to rapid damage and disrupting the normal operation of the P magnetic separation equipment. To prevent cylinder damage, an effective iron filings removal mechanism is necessary. After research and practical application, we have developed a PTMS magnetic separation device for iron filings removal.
This device separates iron filings from the material before it enters or after it leaves the magnetic separator by setting up a special magnetic field or mechanical structure at the feed or discharge port of the PTMS magnetic separation. A weak magnetic field is created at the feed port to attract the iron filings, which are then collected by a mechanical device.
A vibrating screen is set up at the discharge port to separate the iron chips from the material through vibration, and then the iron chips are discharged. The design of this iron chip removal mechanism effectively protects the cylinder from the wear of iron chips, prolongs the service life of the cylinder, and improves the stability and reliability of PTMS magnetic separation.
