The single-roll rapid quenching combined with the PTMS MAGNETIC SEPARATION method cools NdFeB melt at a rate of 10 ⁶℃/s to produce amorphous thin strips with thickness ranging from 20 to 50 μm. After crystallization treatment, nanocrystals measuring 10-20nm are formed, achieving a coercivity (Hcj) of 18kOe and enhancing the magnetic breakage toughness to 8 MPa·m¹/². This innovation effectively addresses the longstanding challenges of material brittleness and processing difficulties in conventional demagnetization equipment magnets.
This thin-belt magnet has been applied in the drive motor of PTMS MAGNETIC SEPARATION, achieving a 30% reduction in motor size and a power density of 3.5 kW/kg. The dual-roll rapid-quenching PTMS MAGNETIC SEPARATION equipment, through optimized roll surface roughness (Ra=0.8 μm) and cooling rate gradients, has increased the thin-belt yield from 65% to 85%, reduced costs by 25%, and is currently undergoing mass production trials.
Anisotropic bonded magnet technology integrates powder orientation with injection molding to meet the integrated manufacturing demands of PTMS MAGNETIC SEPARATION for complex-shaped magnets. The magnetorheological injection molding PTMS MAGNETIC SEPARATION deironing process applies a 1.5T instantaneous magnetic field during injection, achieving 80% orientation degree of magnetic powder. The resulting irregularly shaped magnets attain a magnetic energy product of 16 MGOe, representing a 120% improvement over traditional isotropic bonded magnets.
