How do I confirm a part fits my PTMS-750?

Matrix mesh or steel wool: what is the difference?

The Steel Matrix Mesh (PTMS-750I / 750II) is expanded magnetic stainless steel mesh that creates the high field gradient capturing fine iron particles. The Steel Wool Matrix has very fine fibres and gives the highest gradient for weakly magnetic iron in kaolin, feldspar and quartz slurry.

When should I replace the matrix?

Replace worn, corroded or clogged mesh during scheduled maintenance, as it lowers iron-removal efficiency and whiteness. Replace steel wool when fibres are broken, rusted or permanently loaded with iron.
